Fishing at Charleston Woodlands

Charleston Woodlands offers a premium fishing experience for camping guests. Campers enjoy fishing access to Lake Charleston, South Lake, and Palmetto Lake, each of which hosts largemouth bass and a variety of sunfish. Whether you choose to fish from the bank of a lake, a kayak, or paddle board, fishing at Charleston Woodlands is sure to be a memorable experience!

GENERAL FISHING POLICIES

  • Guest must have a camping reservation to fish

  • We are a catch and release fishery. All fish must be released where they are caught

  • No motorized water crafts

  • No littering: This includes fishing line and lures.

  • Fishing license required

EQUESTRIAN TRAIL RIDING

Charleston Woodlands offers over 60 miles of pristine equine trails. Days passes are available for purchase and give riders access to Bailey's Field which has easy access for equestrian trailers and features wash stations and a bathhouse.  Book your trail pass today!
